He plays Randall Keys, A World War II fighter pilot who learns that the strange lights he saw in the night sky while on a mission over Germany weren't simply "marsh gas" from swamps. Taken weaves together over 50 years of alien abductins in tot he compelling story of three families' experiences. Currently in active pre-production, the miniseries is scheduled to air during fourth quarter 2002 as an original event exclusively on Sci-Fi.
-->Michael Saucedo(ex-Juan Santiago) will appear in a recurring role on Boston Public as a "smart a**" called Lyle on October 29th. Feedback from fans will determine whether or not his character is embraced. Until then, Michael is in talks with the Y&R about joining that soap--he's keeping his fingers crossed!

-->"General Hospital," is cutting its losses with the violent Cassadine-Spencer war.
Robert Kelker-Kelly, who plays the evil, biotoxin-wielding Stavros, and Angel Boris, who plays Angel, a suspect in the murder of her mobster father Sorel, have been let go.
By the end of October, the Port Charles denizens will be making love, not war. Viewers can look forward to the renewed couplings of Sonny/Carly, Nikolas/Gia and Roy/Melissa.

-->Amber Tamblyn has some good news! She's got a guest spot on an upcoming "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" episode and she's also landed a role in a Spike Lee movie! Way to go Amber! *Update 9/16...we think the Spike Lee/Wim Wenders film Amber referred to may be "10 Minutes Older" which is a collection of short vignettes done by 15 different directors about the theme of time. This is the only Spike Lee/Wim Wenders film we could find that goes into production soon for release in 2002.

She had a false sense os security when she thought she had a recurring role on ABC's NYPD Blue. Turns out she will be written out after only oneshow. The second show of the new season. BUMMER!

**Linda Dano (Rae) will make several guest appearances on GH for November sweeps.
**Angel Boris makes her last appearance on GH on Oct. 26th
**CONFIRMED: Robert Kelker-Kelly and Angel Boris have been let go from GH. Read about it in the Oct.9th issue of Soap Opera Digest. The RKK firing apparently was not a performance issue, but comes as a result of drastic changes GH wound up making to its storylines in light of the September 11 tragedies. (Stavros was at the centre of a biotoxin plotline that was scuttled). As for Boris's ouster, insiders report that it has little to do with the actress herself and comes due to lack of acceptance of her character by fans. Also while co-star Maurice Benard has praised Boris, he has made little secret of his displeasure with the Angel/Sonny/ storyline as well as his desire to focus on the Carly/Sonny saga again---an interesting twist when you figure in the fact that Boris was among those considered earlier this year for the recast role of Carly.
**The role of Janine has been cast with actress DeLane Matthews. She is a former regular on the 1993-1997 sitcom Dave's World and appeared in the acclaimed 1998 HBO miniseries From The Earth To The Moon. Janine comes to Port Charles with connections to Edward on October 26th.

What is going to happen when Carly senses someone else having feelings for Sonny? These two are going back to the place they were married and it may not turn out the way even they think it will!
Which Port Charles pretty will be wooed by the eligible Aussie? Jax is a romantic figure who has lost the women of his romances. So we're going to build great suspense as to who will be the next woman to make Jax fall in love.
The Spencers and the good Cassadines find that love is a very powerful weapon and that together you can win against evil because you have a weapon it doesn't have. ''It gives me a tear, because it's so appropriate for what we're now going through (in the world)." says McTavish. Along the way, look for Port Charles' chilling iceman to finally reveal himself. ''It is a huge moment and not what he expected---when Stavros re-meets Nikolas and Laura. The sight of his son is truly touching to him''.
How will the revelation of ''Lucien Cain's'' true identity affect the young crowd? There's big stuff for Gia when she figures out whose side Nikolas is really on. Whether she can forgive him for making her think he didn't love her...that's something else. As for incorporating Rebecca Herbst's imminent maternity leave in her role of Liz, We'll keep her alive in Lucky's heart through a letter she gives Nikolas for Lucky.
